It is a huge volcanic rock miles away from the mainland out in the sea - and whilst responsible for furnishing many overbearing Americans with overly loud short sleeve shirts - it is not only amazingly beautiful but a great place to stay (hence worthwhile adopting as an extra 'State' by the US) even though it is nowhere near the US!

Hawaii is a tropical island whereas in the US we don't really have any states that is tropical. Also, Hawaii has active volcanos where we might have one or two that blows once in a great while. It's paradise.

It is in the middle of the Pacific Ocean for a start and I believe it is the only American state that is an Island.

Its all those things in the other answers, i.e., it's an island, is furthest state south, etc., except for the one that says it WAS a kingdom. As far as I know, it still IS a kingdom, and as such incorporates a foreign flag, (the UK's Union Flag), as part of their own state flag.

Yeah, much different, why don't you go there and see yourself, the schools or diferent and stuff, but if you don't want to miss a lot of schooling and want to have a groove on try Florida, it's beachy, or maybe, even a little more.

They are more laid back, they have there own very different culture and they aren't as full of sh1t as the mainlanders, its like America but with buttons

Once you visit it, you'll understand. Absolute paradise and small wonder the natives resented the explorer's intrusion.
