We'll need a kitchen. We'll have 5-7 days and there will be 4 of us.
We would like to be on the water with access to float trips, horseback riding, hiking, swimming and general relaxation. We don't need a 5-star place but not a Motel 6 either. I want my girls, all young adults, to have a vacation to remember a lifetime as this is the first vacation we'll have taken. My baby is off to college in the fall so it's now or never. Anyone know of that special place?

This summer in like early August im going to cedar point with my friend, my mom and little sister. The problem is that my friend and i have to pay for everything ourself and find transportation. If you could help b/c we need a cheep hotel and within walking distance from cedar point.

I'm am starting to plan a road trip from Memphis to Alaska and back for next summer for myself and maybe 3 friends (it's a 70 hour trip straight through from memphis to anchorage). Just wondering if anyone has some tips for road trip success? Any great places to mt climb, camp, hike, etc on the way that you've been too? How about in Anchorage, what is worth doing? Cheap yet quality train tickets, rental cars, bus tickets for the trip?

Anyone here ever done the same thing?

we're starting to plan now, but we're gonna leave it open enough to stop and do random things, have as much fun as possible. We're all in NROTC (Navy and MArine Options) so this will be the last chance for any trip like this for all ofus for a long time. Figure we should see the country we're gonna be protecting before going off to other ones (if we do).

It would be a family trip. Me, husband, and three kids. (12 yrs,7yrs, 7 mos).

We will be going in about 3 - 4 weeks.

The cost is not a big issue. We aren't millionaires, but for the most part, money is not an issue.

We want to drive, and stay close to the east coast. This needs to be a leisurely trip. No pressure to stay on a timeline, we will obviously need to make a lot of stops because of the kids.

We want to go for 4 - 5 days, and it doesn't matter if it's weekdays or weekends.

We are leaving for a trip to alaska on Aug 30th and returning Sept 17th. How cold do the days/nights get at that time and what will I have to bring....... all pants or is it still shorts during the day and pants at night???? We are going to be taking an RV all around.
