how do I get out of a ticket

1. Opt for court.
2. Once you get the court date, ask them to postpone; tell them you are going to europe or something.
3. when you get a second court date, try to postpone that one too.
4. go to court, plead no contest, ask for a break.
Courts try to schedule a cop's tickets all on the same date; break that routine and you have a better chance of the cop not showing up. Cops will show up the vast majority of the time on the first scheduled date; they might be getting overtime for it and they won't throw that away.

Depends on what the ticket was for. Little more info could help. If it was for speeding or something like that? Do not pay the fine and Go to the court date. Nine times out of ten the police officer who issued the ticket will not feel like going to the court date or will be off duty on that day and the judge will hear your plea not guilty(whether you were or were not) and he will just dismiss the case if the officer does show up make your plea not guilty and usually the judge will reduce the fine by half.

Go to court. If the cop doesn't show, most jurisdictions will dismiss the ticket. If the cop is there, find the state's attorney and ask if you can get dismissed on payment of fine, or court supervision, or a reduced charge that doesn't go on your record. Most jurisdictions will do this if you have a pretty clean record and you look respectable and act polite.

depending what the charges are you can do one of 2 things either hire a lawyer to present your case in court or prsent the facts yourself your going to need strong evidence to prove your innocence other wise your liable for the ticket

unless you work for the prosecuting attorney for that city then you can't.
