Yes, it is the best country in the world. I think that is evidenced by the millions of immigrants going to America (or, wanting to come). Plus, it is quite safe.

Love the country, am concerned about some of the people.

Sometimes yes, sometimes no for personal safety. Are my ideals and what I believe in safe? Not at all.

As a Canadian I used to make fun of Americans. And vice versa of course. It was all in good fun.
Now, however, it's not funny. Invading countries based on outright lies, bombing schools with children hiding in them, massacreing families for no good reason...
It is for these and many more reasons that the world is becoming more and more suspicious of the USA and it's intentions. You have no credibility any longer (thanks to your administration) and what sympathy the world had for you after 9/11 is long gone. It has been replaced with a sense of "well they had it coming to them".

i in my view think of its the acknowledgment this is inflicting friction. while Obama grew to become into working for President, i presumed-approximately him as a guy, yet there grew to become right into a lot heap because of the fact he grew to become into African American, and that i'd desire to understand why, yet from my perspective, I recognized him as a guy with outstanding speech know-how who can ultimately placed this u . s . a . on the properly suited song. As for enclosing the barriers between colour cultures, i do no longer think of we are able to ever try this. there's a lot acknowledgment and consider and info approximately crime fees in accordance to ethnicity, and that generates stereotypes.
