what are some cool places to go in Florida? Preferably near North Fort Myers.

Sanibel Island is awesome, especially the J. N. "Ding" Darling National Wildlife Refuge on Sanibel Island (see our impressions below) Everglades are not far away. You can drive to Siesta Key in Sarasota and chill.

St. Petersburg, Fl. is fun! Try St. Pete's Beach or Treasure Island.

Try Stuart old town. They have some really cool shops and good eats as well.
