This summer in like early August im going to cedar point with my friend, my mom and little sister. The problem is that my friend and i have to pay for everything ourself and find transportation. If you could help b/c we need a cheep hotel and within walking distance from cedar point.

Hello,
The thing about Cedar Point is that the only hotels within walking distance are the ones owned by Cedar Point. There rates are pretty expensive. All the other ones are way too far to walk (Cedar Point is located on a penninsula) and there aren't even sidewalks.
What you can do is request a travel booklet from the Tourism Office for the county...this is located at http://www.buckeyenorth.com/. Request a mailer, they will send you one with a bunch of hotel ads and look for one with a shuttle bus to the park. You should get some coupons, too.

your best bet is to go on map quest and type in ceder point and click hotels it will show you where hotels are located near there and you should be able to find a couple of hotels that have free shuttle to the park..the parking lot alone would kill you you don't wanna walk most of the hotels are on the other side of the free way.
