For those who don't know, Hilly Kristal was the founder of CBGBs, where the Ramones once performed. He was the staple of punk rock.

RIP Hilly Kristal

I visited NY city for the first time this summer. I found everyone I talked to quite friendly and helpful. Several people went out of their way to help me find my way when I was lost. One lady actually walked with me for six blocks to show me the closest subway station.

I'll be visiting NYC this weekend and would like to know how much it cost to use the pay phones. Is it unlimited?

I'm asking this because I'd like to use calling cards to call back home (Canada). I'm assuming this way will be cheaper than using the cell phone. What are your suggestions of good calling cards?

The ones in the subway, (with their patter of "Good evening, ladies and gentlemen, Jus' got otter the hospital.") have been there-----I swear ta God-----since the Columbia revolution of schoolchildren in 68. Do you think the Jews had anything to do with that, since the leadership cadre was Entirely Jewish,
100%?

I am going to Greenwich Ave for my bachelorette party. We are taking a Limo Bus there, but are taking the train back home to save money and not pay to have a limo sit around and wait for us.

I know that the Bank Street/Greenwich Ave block is only about 3 miles from Grand Central, but we will NOT be wanting to walk after that night.. SOOO what subway do i take to get from Bank Street/Greenwich Ave to Grand Central???

Please help!!!!

We are planning to move out of the city, b/c we are pregnant, and want to buy a house in New Jersey. What areas/cities would you recommend and why?
We need to have quick access to the city, since both of us work there. So Train, Ferry proximity is very important.
Thanks.
