I will be making a trip to NYC in late June to see the Yankees & Mets play, and check out the city. But i really want to go to Boston to see Fenway Park as well. What is the best, easiest, cheapest way to get there?
Also any suggestions on NYC nightlife for college males (restaurants & bars, clubs, broadway, comedy, shows, etc) would be great. Thanks.

Going to NYC soon, tempted to go and see the knicks play. it will be my first basketball game - im english just goto Soccer here.

Is it worth going -- bearing inmind that i am not a fan, just think it would be interesting to see some live sports on my visit.

If not the knicks would the Ice Hockey be better to watch?

Either way i want to go into Madison Square Garden

Going in late feb, so its going to be cold. I know about the things to do during the day - but what can you do at night, apart from seeing a Show or seeing the knicks play (both of which i intend to do).

Any ideas of activities to do in Manhatten in the evening would be great

I am going to be leaving from Northeast PA on a trip to NYC and plan on parking the car at a train station. Can I park the car overnight and if so which stations allow this? Also, do all stations sell tickets or will I need to buy them online. Thanks in advance.

I'm going to be in NYC for two weeks from Jan 31st and will be missing some of the Six Nations games. The thing is, is it'll be on (if shown live) at 10am and it seems most bars I've read about are open from 11am so I'm not sure about the licensing laws etc.

Your help would be appreciated!

I'm fairly certain that I can travel from Manhattan's (NYC) Port Authority or Penn Station, via bus or PATH, to Woodridge, NJ's Beth Israel Cemetery, but know of no specifics, i.e., which NYC terminal, which bus or train, the cost, whether the bus or train will land me at the Cemetery, cost, etc.?

able to spend week or even more in New York, but hotel prices are steep so I'm wondering whether we could have say 4 or 5 days in Manhattan, and possibly 2/3 days out of town - up to say 2 hours on public transport. We are first time visitors from UK, love scenery and sights, rather than night life, and would like to make the most of our time without breaking the bank.
Anywhere you'd recommend out of town?
Our airport will be Newark; incidentally is early May a good time, weather-wise?
Too many questions I know!!
Thanks in advance for all answers.

I have lived in the US my whole life but I have never understood about Manhatten, Queens, the Bronx and all the others I can't name. I understand we have towns or cities and counties but how do the boroughs of NY fit in. How are they split up or seperated with regards to towns and counties? Are they only in NY City ot all of the State? Thanks in advance.
