I am going to be leaving from Northeast PA on a trip to NYC and plan on parking the car at a train station. Can I park the car overnight and if so which stations allow this? Also, do all stations sell tickets or will I need to buy them online. Thanks in advance.

Amtrak.com has information on the facilities at the stations. Most do have parking, though there is sometimes a charge. You're more likely to find free parking at rural or small-town stations than in a big city or suburb. Most Amtrak stations have either ticket agents or vending machines. If they don't, a conductor can sell you tickets on the train. However, you may find it is cheaper to buy online before you go.

If you're familiar with I-78 East, just take that, and hop onto 287 S. and onto The NJ Turnpike or 95, its the same thing. Don't get caught driving in the city, those taxis will BLOW you away.
