My boyfriend and I are planning a few days away in New York. We are from UK. We want to know if the New Yorker is a good hotel that is situated in a prime area - close(ish) to most attractions and shopping?

I stayed in the Super 8 Times Square. It was decent for the price. It's not the Waldorf, but wasn't bad. Walking Distance to Times Square, Rockefeller Plaza, Grand Central, subways.

Click the link below and see for yourself. Be sure to check the Candid Traveller Photos. They show the real deal, not what the hotel wants you to see. You can find other NYC hotels there too.

right here is the unhappy actuality approximately NYC> You CANT get a intense high quality lodge for a affordable fee. Its no longer possible. Even the no longer so great lodges are properly over 2 hundred nighttime if no longer larger. Even the YMCA is over one hundred a nighttime! and additionally you are able to could desire to pay me to stay there. lodge Pennysylvania, that's right around the line from Penn Station and MSG, is ussualy afforable. in spite of if, its kinda dingy additionally. yet its the only lodge in NYC that I even have come for the time of that's no longer an entire dive, and not an entire scam. NYC isn't the placement to return on a buget. Its a great city and place you are able to desire to investigate, yet be arranged to spend loads of money in case you will stay in city.

There is no New Yorker Hotel in NYC, there is the New York Inn on 8th which is a dump. If that is not it, give more info.
