Close to 7th and 50th street would be better. Only answer if you KNOW of a place. "Try Duane Reade" is useless to me. Thanks.

I know and have been to The Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel and Feinstein's at the Regency Hotel. Anything else? Doesn't have to be so high end. Thanks in advance.

I will need to be rather abruptly moving from Chicago to New York for my career very soon and need some help in deciding where to look for a reasonably priced home that would allow for daily travel to main Manhattan... I am not at all familiar with real estate in the city and do not even know where to begin. I am aware of the taxes and higher cost of living but am rather flexible and have accepted this. Any advice regarding nearby neighborhoods, et cetera would be appreciated.

Hi there, can anyone help me out? I don't know how to travel from NYC to Long Island, I need to meet a client there. I'd like to use the fastest and most effective way, trains or bus and if cabs what would be the ongoing rate? How long will the distance take?
Any contact details for Train or Buses would be great as the phone numbers on the web are for emergency only ! Cheers everyone

We are staying around 16th street. Would love to see a Broadway show if we could get tickets. We are in our 40's, no kids with us and just there through Monday.

I plan to move to NYC sometime nect year and figured Chinatown might be cheaper to live due to all the noise, crowds, ect (which is all fine with me). Just thinking of a spot in Manhattan that may be cheaper. Anyone know anything about it?

I'm coming to New York City next month for the first time. I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to get from Macy's to Ground Zero? Also, are there any fire stations located near Macy's or Ground Zero?

I'm heading to New York for 3 days. If you had to pick the best things to do, or see, or eat while there, what would it be? I've only got 3 days to get a NY experience, so choose wisely!

My husband and I are moving to New Windsor, NY from Boston. Our apartment is $840 a month, and the town doesn't seem too bad... does anyone live in or around there? is that a good price for that area for a one bed and bath apartment?

Also, are the people who live there racist? maybe everyone was just in a bad mood, but it seemed like everyone didn't have a problem talking to me but when it came to talking to my hubby, they gave him quite an attitude (he's asian.. I am white). any input would be great

I remember hearing about a project in New York whereby people could stick a sticker on places in new york and record information about them on a phoneline/website. I think it was a few years ago and made some kind of living guide to the city, maybe a bit like street art. Can anyone remember anything about what it was? Thanks
