I know and have been to The Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel and Feinstein's at the Regency Hotel. Anything else? Doesn't have to be so high end. Thanks in advance.

Cafe Carlyle - Carlyle Hotel - Madison Avenue - high end

NOT High End:

Don't Tell Mama - 46th Street - they have great amateur/open mic nights

The Duplex - 7th Ave. South - my favorite! The waiters take turns singing and everyone sings along!

Marie's Crisis & Roses Turn - right next door to each other, right off 7th Ave. South on Grove Street

I don't know but I like your answer on "which is better.. NY or LA? Being you are from California, I'm surprised you chose NY. You weren't a homer. People in Claifornia always seem to think they are living in the best state in the Country.

I live in Boston though. I have only been to LA once long time ago, so I am curious to know what more you don't like abouT LA. Email me if you can Thx.
