When I moved from Detroit two years ago, there was talks about remodeling the hotel but one group left the project and I was wondering if there are any plans on still remodeling the Book Cadillac Hotel and reopening the hotel in the future.

White flight and continued population loss due to economic trouble/taxes, corrupt leaders and mismanagement, gangs, crime, drugs, urban decay, decline in social services, etc. etc. At what point, if ever, will Detroit see a rebound or "rebirth" like other cities? How far does the population shrink before it happens? What factor(s) will contribute to this rebirth we've been looking for for decades now?
