If you don't mind drinving a little try this for a day
Start off at University of Michigan Matthaei Botanical Gardens, Ann Arbor,
Then off to the Oasis Hot Tub Gardens in Ann Arbor and soak for an hour in your own private landscaped garden in the country of your choice (each oasis is a garden from a different country)
Then head back towards your side of town and Seldom Blues in Downtown Detroit for some dinner and jazz.
Or how about a lunch or dinner cruise aboard the Detroit Princess River Boat they always have entertainment like a band, or a mystery dinner.
Bike around metro park then go to dinner on the Nautical Mile in St. Clair Shores, there are a lot of nice restaurants on the water.
Or an afternoon at Arts & Apples in Rochester. The festival is held annually on the weekend following Labor Day in downtown Rochester’s 30-acre Municipal Park. Then dinner at Kruse & Muer or the Rochester Chop House in downtown Rochester.

Depends on how much you want to spend. I hear the Melting Pot is fun and romantic, but also expensive. Any restaurant downtown is going to be fun and exciting. Sweet Loraines, Small Plates or Portofinos in Wyandotte is nice.
Think by the water!
What about a picnic in the park by the detroit river with wine and snacks?

Why not come up to my neck of the woods in Port Huron? It's about an hour from downtown Detroit or the farthest part of Macomb County, I know because I'm in Macomb (grew up in the Shelby/Utica area) County regularly and Detroit to a lesser extent. There are quite a few nice dining places along the St. Clair River or the Black River in Port Huron or even along Lake Huron from St. Clair to Port Huron and I'll assume the prices are a bit less expensive up here as well. Feel free to message me (I guess you'd need to incluse your e-mail?) if you need any advice.

Andiamo Riverfront
400 Renaissance Center, Detroit, (313) 567-6700
The well-known Andiamo group of restaurants now has its first presence in downtown Detroit. The menu of Italian dishes includes many of the favorites from the other Andiamos around town, including sauteed chicken breast with artichokes, tomatoes, parsley and white wine, a similar tretment of veal and such housemade pastas as tortellini with veal and fresh mushrooms in cream sauce. The slick, riverfront setting, however, is much more supper club than Italian restaurant with its strands of crystal beads forming shades on the overhead lights, mirrors, rich colors and, from some of the handsomely appointed tables, a river view. There's live music Wednesday through Saturday.
Awesome food!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RE:
Any romantic places to take my fiance in the Detroit/Detroit suburb area?
I want to take my fiance to some beautiful romantic places, but I'm stumped in where to find them. We live in the Detroit area (Macomb/Wayne county area.) Do you know any nice places? If so where? Thanks for your help!

Ruth-Chris' Steakhouse is really fancy and expensive but really nice and has terrific food. Great for a romantic dinner if you have a big budget.
Also, Birmingham is nice to stroll around on a breezy summer evening, and it would be cheaper, but still romantic. You could see a movie, and eat at a number of places, including 220 (sort of quiet and romantic), Buca di Beppo (loud and crazy but really fun), or they have some nice little European cafes as well.
Good luck!

Drive to Elizabeth Park in Trenton and walk your beauty through the woods and talk over your life and enjoy the view of the river and the woods. Also, drive to Wyandotte and Walk around Bishop Park which is right on the River and view the world from both your hearts together.

you could take her to dinner at the top of the Renaissance Center.
There are river cruises on the Detroit river that are cheap and fun.
Greenfield village is nice on a slow day, and have dinner at the village or at the Dearborn Inn

Do what he likes..You should know what he wants. Make a vow to love him unconditionally & thank him for taking you back. You are so lucky. The other guy left you ? Don't ever mess up a good thing again. You are special to this gentleman..he forgave you..he took you back. So whatever you do FOCUS on him..let him know you only have eyes (etc) for him ! You go girl
