jazzfest is sooo much cooler than the other events. plus they are taking over woodward all the way to campus martius this year. i'm so there!

Although I do not live in the Detroit area anymore, I suggest you go to the Michigan Stae Fair. The State Fair is a family fun event and there is a lot of attractions to see at the State Fair and the food is good too.

State fair is always great but how about the Renaissances Festival that would be fun too and check on-line for discount tickets

Arts beats and Eats is a lot of fun for adults, great music and great food.
State Fair is fun for the family. not cheap,but nice rides, animals, games etc.

It depends on your family....
if you have kids, no question the state fair.
if its just you and your bf/gf or significant other, any of them.
