I know what you are saying. We came back sunday from a week long road trip throughout south florida. It was fun,and so much fun, that we can not get back into the work mode.I think if you really needed the vacation your body and mind, they give up the routine so well, that it does take a week to get into it.Maybe by next monday,I can get some work done! ;)

I think it is nice just to be back home and rest a little from the constant moving around and deciding where to go. Its tiring trying to do so many things in a limited amount of time. I live about 25 minutes north of downtown Detroit and I like it down there, it is nice. I'm glad that you liked it.

As a southwest Michigan resident, I would like to know why anyone would go on vacation in Detroit? Of all the beautiful places you could have visited in Michigan alone, why go to the vacant building and liquor store capital of the world?

You probably need another vacation to recover from the carjackings and bullet wounds you incurred in that crap hole of a city.

We need one day to rest when we get home from vacation. We have a 3 hour drive (one way) when we have vacation. Plus we're pulling a boat AND it's over the July 4th holiday (traffic).
It's all worth it though...:)
