I'm trying to picture how this would work, because I heard the train station was beneath the arena. From street level, did you enter Boston Garden through the front doors, then climb stairs or take an escalator up to the arena?? Or was the hockey rink/basketball court located at street level and the Train Station was in the "basement"??

Did hockey/basketball fans have to push through commuters on the way to see a game?

How did this work having a train station below an arena???

Always wondered about this!

Moving for Grad school. I heard Allston has too many undergrads and other areas take too long to commute from. I want to be in an interesting place too. Any suggestions?

I remember there being a way to determine when the black flies are bad. I think its has to do with the tides. Does anyone know for certain?

I've visited Boston several times and think it's an awesome city. I'd like to get some opinions on the city from anyone that lives there. And just a tiny bit on your opinion on the real estate market..just as far as prices go compared to Chicago, NYC.

thanks.

I'm going to a BoSox game for the first time in April. I've heard that Fenway is actually kind of a dump. What should I expect? Does it really smell like urine? How can I make sure my seats have a clear view of the field?

I'm planning a trip to Boston, MA either in late-Summer/early-Autumn for 3-days. What are some highlights and interests worth putting on my agenda?

I'm definitely interested in Revolutionary stuff as well as arts & theatre, but am open to other fascinating and interesting areas.

I'm looking for ideas to put on an itinerary to make this trip worthwhile. Thanks!

PS - I'm going to be staying in the downtown area, so anything in that general vicinity where public transit can take me.

My friend and I are going to Boston in a couple of months and we're looking for a quality, safe, affordable (around $150-200/night), and well-located hotel. We're not renting a car, so preferably something close to the action, as well as close to transportation to get around to everywhere else. Any suggestions?

I'm Italian and I will be making a trip to NYC, Boston and possibly Niagara Falls in April (Mar 28-Apr 7) with friends. We will be renting a car.
I've already been to NYC, so I know what to do there.
I've never been to Boston. What are some must do's there? And is it too ambitious to want to make it to Niagara Falls from Boston in the amount of time we have? Any nice places worth stopping by on the way? And, is it still cold in April?
Thanks!
