There are lots of things to do: shopping, dining, theater, etc. For turning 16 blue man group could be fun if there are any shows available when you come. I would also spend one day doing the following: go to the aquarium, walk to Quincy Market for lunch/shopping, then back to aquarium for IMAX movie. There's also lots of fun restaurants throughout including ***** Last Resort but always check first to see if age is an issue. Try checking the arts and entertainment section when you are looking to go.

You could check out the Hard Rock Cafe, as well as downtown crossing for shopping, and Filene's Basement is there. If you're up for shopping, try the Prudential or Copley. A walk down Newbury St. would be nice, and check out Trinity Church in Copley Square-it's beautiful! Check out Fenway! The JFK Library is cool if they're into that stuff. All of these are accessable by public transportation. Don't worry, you'll have more than enough to do, with such a short stay. Enjoy!

Well it depends what they like! Odds are they like shopping, so you could take them to Newbury Street which is fun, even just to window shop, at the fancy and elegant shopping of Boston's upper end. Harvard Square has fun, and more funky shops. Fanueil Hall is always a great time. Make sure to take them somewhere great to eat, depending what they like. Maybe like the Hard Rock Cafe. If you can, get tickets to a show which is going on at the Wang Theater or something. Blue Man Group is fun for all ages, and plays at the Charles Street Playhouse. That's tons of fun. If you aren't familar with the area, try to catch some tourist type places like some of the musuems or take a Duck Tour.

Rumor has it that Boston has some beans. I would have these teenage girls investigate the matter. A sixteenth bithday, after all, is a serious thing where Boston could be very useful; it's no cause for a silly party!
