I am looking at an apartment in Seattle in the skyway vicinity and was wondering if it is a safe area.

Hi, I'm relocating to LA from SF. I want to make the best choice for a 1 bedroom apartment. I don't want to be stuck commuting too much, so a central location is best. A few frills are nice too.

I am a Film and TV Editor, so I believe the best choices for post-production are found in Santa Monica, the Burbank area or Hollywood.

I'm not much of a beach guy, more of a nightlife person, I guess. So would the Hollywood Area (Beachwood Cyn, Los Feliz, Silverlake, Echo Park) be best? Or should I go for something like Studio City, Sherman Oaks, NoHo or Burbank? Santa Monica and WeHo seem a bit out of my price range. A Downtown LA Loft would be cool, but I fear the hassle.

Seems like you can get way more bang for the buck in the southern part of the SF Valley and it's not too far from Hollywood. I would rather enjoy parking, A/C, a pool AND be in Hollywood. But these items put a lot of places out of my price range in Hollywood (no more than $1400).

Any ideas and thoughts are welcome.

I live in Brooklyn, and I know Penn Station (that has the train that'd bring me to Pennsylvania) is location somewhere in Manhattan, but I'm not sure where. Can anyone please give me the specific address and how to get there because I'm having a hard time looking it up on Yahoo Maps. First person that helps will get the points. Thank You.

Hey There.

There are eight of us wanting to go to the usa for ten days next year. We would like to stay in a log cabin in the mountains. Anywhere! And if there were any local activities on (state fair or something along those lines) that would be great!

We would love some serious suggestions and web links, if possible.

Thanks in advance for answering this :o)

My wife and I just moved to Texas and are looking for a game to join, maybe to start if we can't find one. Any suggestions on where on line to look or post, or what stores to go to? Years of experience and an almost complete library of gaming materials await a way to use them... .

I'm going to New Orleans this week and I think a great way to see the city would be by bike.

I don't want to go on a bike tour and was wondering if anyone knew of a place in or very close to the Garden District where I could rent a bike for the day?
