I did something really different last time I was in Las Vegas. Took a tour of the site where the nuclear tests were done years ago. The group met at a museum in Las Vegas, boarded buses and were driven to, and through the test site.Tour was free and escorted. Now here's a problem I don't recall the name of the museum where I made the arraignment's,but if you look in the yellow pages I'm sure you will come up with something. It had Department of Energy or something similar to that in the name.

There are all kinds of rides in the casino joints, the big shot, etc, or there are a lot of golfing resorts, I just got back from Vegas and didn't even go on the strip and had a blast, pools can be fun, there's a pretty view up from the LDS temple on the East side of Vegas, highly recommend that!

The volcano at the Mirage.
The gondolas at the Venetian.
The Eiffel Tower at Paris.
The Bellagio fountains.
The Wynn--all of it. It's beautiful. If you are into cars, check out the Ferrari dealership inside.

The stores in pretty much any of the big hotels. I mean--Jimmy Choo, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany. Kind of girl stuff, but depends on what you like.

I spent a grand total of 50 cents gambling in Las Vegas the last time I was there. The sights are amazing! Then of course, there are the night clubs, the shows (Avenue Q is freaking hilarious).

And, if you are into sci-fi, don't forget to check out the Star Trek Experience at the Hilton.

Tournament of kings at the Excalibur is cool ... also Blue Man Group, that show is awesome ...

If you want to get off the strip, go down to Freemont Street, you have street performers and an amazing light show ...

To get out of the city, Hoover Dam is close by, as well as the Grand Canyon, these tours are usually fairly cheap ... there are petroglyphs that you can see, and you can ride some atv's out into the desert ...

definite this is a huge thought, in case you desire to make it realllllly particular, pass to the dollar keep and purchase a coffee mug (or use one out of your cabinet, basically be optimistic it does not have any cracks or chips on it), then get a pair packets of those one cup servings warm sweets (you need to purchase a field of swiss miss or nestles for a pair of dollar - use 2 or 3 packets tucked interior the cup and you need to have the different 9 or 10 leftover for your self!!!) then use a sheet of tissue paper or some newspaper or paper towels and wrap that around the cup then stuff it right into a lunch bag sized paper bag, if the bag is authentic undeniable you could beautify it with drawings of marshmallows :)

Go to red-rock. Its got really cool hiking and bouldering and such. Not sure where it is, but its just outside Vegas, you can probably ask your concierge. Also, there is a fun water park on the strip.
