Take some Benadryl before you board so you will be a little relaxed.

Chew some gum to help your ears.

Other than that, relax, enjoy it because it won't be that bad.

1)If you're afraid of turbulance, DONT sit near the back of the plane! It's like sitting in the back of the school bus. Its bumpier back there. The plane ride is much smoother up front. 2)I would sit just infront of the wing, that way you dont have to see the gear coming in & out of the wing at take off & landing & wonder if thats normal (it is). 3) Eat a hearty meal b4 departure. Not all airlines offer meals onboard & the ones that do usually have crappy food. 4)Pack a sandwich & snacks. 6hrs is a long time between meals! 5)Bring a book, DVD player or anything else that will keep you entertained. 6)If you decide to take Dramamine or TylenolPM to "calm" your nerves, I would talk to your doctor 1st. You dont want to overmedicate yourself & end-up scaring the flight attendants. If you're not responding properly they'll divert the plane & have paramedics meet you at the door. That would be sooo embarrasing for you... I'm a Flight Attendant & fly 3 to 4 days a week. This is just some advise I think might help... Good luck, stay calm, & happy traveling...

I don't like flying either, but it is actually safer than traveling in a car or a train when you consider that millions of people travel monthly without any incident. I take something called Dramamine that prevents motion sickness, you might ask your doctor if there is something you could take that would help with the pressurized cabin. The best thing you can do is relax, I know this is hard, but it's actually amazing to look out the window and see the clouds and look down at the ant people on the ground. Try to sit near the tail section of the plane, it's the safest place to be. Good luck!

Try not to think about being trapped inside an big metal tube with jet engines strapped to it, flying through the air at 600 miles an hour 40,000 feet in the air.

Get over it. Millions of people fly every day and there's hardly any crashes at all. You should be more scared driving in a car.

You shouldn't be scared I've been in a plane like a million times. I live in Florida and flew to California it was about 6 hours and it was fine. If you don't feel comfortable take a nap. You wont even know that ur in the air and everything will be absolutely fine.

the first time i flew myself i went to california to i was going into the fifth grade so i was 10 ,, ask for blankets if you get cold and take chewing gum to eat for when your ears hurt it helps them from not popping also you will be with your sister so just talk and enjoy it if you are by the window switch if makes you nervous ask for a soda like gingerale that may help if your stomach gets quezzy ,,, if i flew at 10 i know you can fly at 14

Don't worry, nothing is goin to happen, have a higher chance of getting in a car wreck. Planes are the safest way to travel.

There are much better things to worry about. Now imagine flying for 28hours... my bum still hurts lol

don't be scared.

you can't really avoid to have turbulence in the air. anyways, why are you still here? it just means your two trips were safe. and it will still be.

just don't talk harshly to flight attendants. you'll never know what they'll put on your food. hahaha

just kidding. have a safe trip.
