do you have a local newspaper that charges a couple bucks to advertise for a week then it's free for anyone to pick up? What is the name? In my town it's called the Penny Saver, but am looking for out of the area places to advertise. Thank you

HI from central Texas...

We have several 'free' advertising type papers.
One is 'American Classifieds' in Bryan, Tx..
They are distributed every Thursday.

Another popular one is called the 'Thrifty Nickle', but I don't have their contact info.

Good Luck.....

(Some people waste too much time reporting stuff that is really no big deal.....)

Davenport, Iowa

Ours is called the Thrifty Nickel.
Oh, we also have one called The River Cities Reader.

Let me know if you want the phone numbers and I'll look them up for you.

They coverabout 7 different cities that are all housed together because Davenport is right on the Iowa/Illinois border.
