Basically, here's the deal: I'm planning on moving to NYC in around January of 2008, and to plan ahead, I'm wondering what would be the least amount I could expect to pay in housing expenses per month, whether I'm renting or owning. Ideally, I'd prefer to live in Manhattan but I'd be open to any of the burroughs as long as it's safe and I'd be able to commute to the city for work. Thanks in advance, answering this will help me out a lot.
