If there is a baseball game at Fenway, then go! Basbell, fireworks and July 4 go hand in hand.

Definitely, the Espanade on the Charles river, along the river so the trees don't block the view. The combination of the Boston Pops Orchestra on 1 side playing music and the fireworks on the other side is not to be mssed.

The Esplanade at the Charles River. The Pops give a free concert, and then, fireworks. GET THERE EARLY.

The Esplanade. The Pops, the fireworks, the crowd, and it's all for my birthday! Bring the mosquito spray and some good walking shoes, there's no driving on Storrow. FYI, I'm not letting anyone bring a birthday cake this year. Kinda embarassing.
Enjoy!

Anywhere along the esplanade. Or find a bridge crossing the Charles River... if you get there early enough!

Whatever you do, do not go to the Esplande on the Charles River. Unless you want to be packed in belly to belly with like a million people.

The best place is the roof of a building, if you know someone with an apartment or condo.
Otherwise GET THERE EARLY! Like before noon, probably!
