Why is lamb so expensive? not so long ago beef was much more exspensive than lamb. And please spare me the BSE excuse, that has cleared up long ago and people have no fear buying beef.
There is no rush on lamb any longer, so why oh why is it so b****y expensive.

I'm from the North of England, and whenever I speak to an American, I get the question "You're from london, aren't you?" can you please explain to me why Americans say this? if you say that to a Northerner, we get quite upset about it (we don't like being considered londoners).

I'd coming down to London this weekend but only for a few hours. I'd like to leave my car and get a train in to save time. Is there a park and ride somewhere? I remember a big sign from the M1 somewhere around Luton and a picture of a train. Does anyone know where its pointing to? Is there a proper park and ride or would I just park up at a train station?
