I've been working in Japan for a couple of years, coming back things have changed just too much in my old hometown. I think Swansea might be the perfect fresh start. I live now in Coventry (Earlsdon Area-a little bit of a boho village right next to the city centre great shops nice homes, young-ish vibe little bit studenty).
I'm looking for somewhere similar to settle. I'd like to live between the University & city centre, as these are the 2 most likely places I would work. I do not drive & would have to get about on foot & by bus. I'm still pretty young so close to coffee-shops bars & nightclubs but not above one. Have about 120k & could stretch to another 15k or so if pushed. Would like two or three bedrooms(3 would be better) do not mind if a new build (in fact this might be better than a fixer-up this time round) I do like having space to move about-tiny rooms & houses are not for me. So WHERE should I be looking to live - PLEASE HELP ME you yummy Swansea people.

Hello there I hope that you can answer my questions. Can you write to me and tell me your story so I can write my book? Surely everyone has a story to tell and I want to know yours. Like how did you become homeless? What conditions do you live under? Do you stay at a homeless hostel or do you rough sleep? and many more questions

For example; whilst visiting Cardiff U.K. to see a football game I discovered that every hotel, B&B and hostel in the entire of South Wales had been booked up by either football or rugby fans. So I decided to catch a train to Swansea to check out old University haunts.

Anyway, in the end I broke into the Halls of Residence of Swansea Institute and found a bath tub to sleep in. After a few hours of restlessness i decided to head down to the laundrette in the Uni to sleep their because it was much warmer and i borrowed a few towels someone had left in one of the tumble driers to sleep on.

So what strange places have you slept in?

Swansea is under huge development. The Kingsway, Mansel Street, Orchard Street and others are being worked on to make a one-way sytem. SA1 is a huge building site to bring more businesses to the area and to make the area more presentable. Is this all worth it? Will the city and the people benefit ffrom all this? And how much is it all costing?
