I am planning to visit Swansea. Is a one-day trip eoungh if I go from Cardiff ? Any attractions a must?

yes its plenty enough time... u get the train from cardiff cetral station to swansea and it take about 30 mins (if that) a return ticket is about £3.50.... swansea has brilliant nightlife it will be a shame to give that a miss if u only go for the day .... the clubs dont close till about 4am which is when the first train service starts back to cardiff!!! might ne an idea :D
swansea has a lovely shopping centre and a really good swimming pool with slides and a wave machine...
u can have a look at mumbles mile and the town of mumbles where catherine zeta jones grew up and also u can see where the film twin town was made with rhys ifans who alo grew upin swansea... theres so much to see... maybe have a look on www.amazon.co.uk and get urself a tour book?

Despite what someone else has said it takes about a hour by train. And I'd be very surprised if the fare was only £3.50!!! The best thing you can do in Swansea is get out of it fast. The Gower Peninsula is very attractive (buses from bus station).
I'm not at all sure there are any attractions in Swansea!

Do the Mumbles mile - stay for the night! Also try the Welsh Cakes from Swansea City centre market! Also Swansea has more pound shops than you can shake a stick at!

Visit the Gower peninsula, or anywhere on the coast. Avoid the city centre like the plague, especially at night. (Unless you like facial surgery with a beer glass).
Horrible city.
(I'm allowed to say this, its my home city - i got out fast!)
