For example; whilst visiting Cardiff U.K. to see a football game I discovered that every hotel, B&B and hostel in the entire of South Wales had been booked up by either football or rugby fans. So I decided to catch a train to Swansea to check out old University haunts.

Anyway, in the end I broke into the Halls of Residence of Swansea Institute and found a bath tub to sleep in. After a few hours of restlessness i decided to head down to the laundrette in the Uni to sleep their because it was much warmer and i borrowed a few towels someone had left in one of the tumble driers to sleep on.

So what strange places have you slept in?

I have a type of Sleep Disorder that means if my body gets tired, I can fall asleep almost anywhere, and some times with little warning!

I've fallen fast asleep in parks, in the bath, on the toilet, buses trains, etc, etc....

I think the strangest place was while trying to make a call from a Publice Phone Box!...... Awoken by Police (as they thought I was trying to rob it!!!).... Turns out they had driven past about 4 times and I was still in the same slumped position, with the handset to my ear, for over 50mins!!!!

In a coffin, in the back of a hearse humming down the freeway.
We went to pickup a brand new hearse from the dealer, and picked up a coffin on the way back.
It was a 6 hour drive, I had been up all night & drove down while my partner slept in the back of the old hearse.
Since the back was full of coffin now, I took off my shoes & laid down.
You should have seen the looks from the school bus we were passing when I woke up & crawled out.

In Kenya a friend and I went out and returned rather late after his folks had gone to bed. We were supposed to be back early and found ourselves locked out. As the house was miles out of town and was surrounded by wild animals, we thought we would sleep in his folks car, but that was locked up also. So we went to plan "C" which was the large tree with a couple of planks across two branches, which we called the tree house. We spent an uncomfortable cold night up there not daring to sleep in case we fell off, After being bitten by mosquito's etc. at daybreak, we made our way back down as soon as there was signs of life coming from the house

On a sheep farm in Australia. Whilst travelling had a bit too much to drink and couldn't be bothered to walk all the way back to the hostel so slept with the sheep.

Sprawled out in the crowded hallways of the University of Hannover in Hannover, Germany. My friend and I took the overnight train from somewhere (maybe Amsterdam?) thinking we'd save money on lodging, and we didn't sleep at all. We tried to sleep in a park in Hannover, but you're not supposed to so much as walk on the grass there, let alone crash out for awhile. At the university, we figured we'd blend in. We sprawled out and napped. It was student registration day, and we woke up to find hundreds of people everywhere.

In my shed in the back yard when I locked myself out one night as I was drunk and I dropped my keys... it was November and freezing cold and I had the smallest coat in the world on as I am a hard northern girl. I had to use the dogs to keep my feet warm but they kept moving and the ferret that lived in our shed kept scaring me! I rang my boyfriend in floods of tears but he was away working and the bush I was sure I had dropped the keys under produced no keys (I remember cursing the bush a lot) turns out I had got out the taxi further up the road than I thought and my keys were under the next bush so at 8 in the morning when it got light and I found them I finally crawled into bed. Fortunately I have seen the funny side since
