Whereas,' DO AS THE ROMANS DO' has no meaning nowadays, why is this?
if you visit another country, you respect that country and follow its origins, not try and say' this is my country now, you must change it to what i want'... i wouldnt dare of doing such a thing, so why is it fair to do it in the UK and not anywhere else?

While traveling home last night, the picadilly line was ground to a standstill because one,yes ONEperson fell ill at Turnpike lane. When I asked a member of staff , she suggested I get a mini cab! It was after an Arsenal game and thousands were left stranded. Wht aren't they equipped to deal with these sort of situations? No doubt they'll have the audacity to up there fairs in the new year!

Hi! I am moving to Edinburgh in a few months and I need to rent a flat. So I need to know the best areas to live in, close to supermarkets, good transport links, low crime rate, away from pubs and confusion, etc. And I would like to know as well, what are the areas I should avoid. Thank you for your help.

I'm stuck at Heathrow airport for 4 hours today. I would like to find a spot where I can sit down, plug in my laptop, get a wifi connection (currently I'm using a public internet terminal) and get some work done while I'm here. Does anyone know any good spots in the Heathrow airport to hang out and get some work done?

I'm from the US and wanted to move to England for a few months to try something new. I know summer would be a better time but the only opportunity I have is from Jan - March. How cold will it get and will I still have fun travelling around Europe? The last thing I want is to get stuck in a hotel and get bored.
