you know like most nationalities have their part of town in london, right?, portuguese around stockwell, jews in finchley,etc etc..i would like to know where americans normally hang around in london..i am trying to find a friend which i lost phone number..

Try Bedford Place just off Russell Square. That street is where they have the student housing for the American Intercontinental University which is on Marylebone High Street in London. Walk down Bedford Place around 10 o'clock at night at night and you can't move for Yankee accents. Trust me, I should know. For two months my American wife was one of them...

LOL i like each little thing approximately England, no longer basically London. The historic previous, the way of life, the monarchy ? And to boot, maximum of my well-known all and sundry is English (John Lennon, The Beatles, Princess Diana, Prince Harry, Queen Victoria and a great sort of extra historic figures ?) So, my answer is London and English ? :D

I used to live in Maida Vale, just off Edgeware Road, and that area was an extremely popular pace to live amongst American expats.
