can anyone recomend anywhere?

I went to Devon last year and while people were dying from the heat in Derbys, where I'm from, I was stuck in the middle of nowhere in a week of thunderstorms!

i would prefere a seaside destination, or atleast close enough to go to the beach to show my little boy the sand for the fiorst time!

My friend and I are taking the 0530 Eurostar out of the Waterloo terminal. Public transport doesn't start until 5 am so we would be too late. And we would rather not take a cab. So we were wondering whether we could stay overnight at the terminal. Any help will be much appreciated.

My husband was born in Wolverhampton and lived on Hatton Crescent. His family moved to the US when he was 11. He and I are taking a trip to England and will stop in Wolverhampton for a visit to see if any of it is familiar. He went to school at St. Mary's.
