It looks a very attractive place in pictures I have seen and those old town walls most impressive. Would anybody recommend the town as a good place to visit? Are there some good pubs there?

I am a man and am going on a holiday to the Isle of Wight next Saturday. *I know: not the most glamourous of all, but we have family there* I usually ask what kind of things I need to take: clothes, toiletries, fun etc; on the internet and I recently discovered Yahoo Answers, so I thought: why not? Due to the even stricter government rules i don't want to chance the photo booths...I even tryed to do them myself at home but they were declined as they said they weren't sharp enough...they looked fine to me!.....These are kids pictures so it's not too easy having them keep still............

We are thinking of taking our family vacation to London this year. What is the best time of year to go? And what are the best things to do with only one week and a 9 year old daughter? We are thinking about Legoland and just a few of the main must see places. Is it worth taking the train to Paris? We are from the US so this may be our only trip there. Also what should we know about safety?
