I am petrified to fly, I hate it, but if I can't get there by land, there is no other choice. I have checked flights and can fly non stop on Iceland air to Heathrow. My question is, when is the best time to go. Iceland air is a little more expensive, and I like the idea of non stop, however, the flights for July and Aug are booked. Is it still lush and green in Sept to see the parks and gardens?
And for those of you that also hate to fly, what do you do to get mentally prepared. I hate the take off, ok once i get up there.
