I don't recall a lot of pubs in Edinburgh having pool tables. If you can stand a non-traditional (rather cheesy) pub atmosphere, the Oz Bar on Candlemaker Row & Merchant St has tables (it is an Aussie theme pub, good tables though).

You can find pool tables but no cue's. They've all been broken over people's head's.
