Anyone know of where to find a nice holiday cottage for a last minute weekend away? Need somewhere for Friday October 19th until the Sunday or possibly the Monday, within about 2 hrs drive of London. Only needs to sleep 2 to 4 people.

Having a nightmare trying to find anything which is available and not stupidly expensive....just want a quiet weekend away!

I have had this done to me but it is most often American people telling me that I have either spelt a word incorrectly or made a new word up! I am from England and I think we have a lot of words that are different. Have you had people do this to you? What words have they corrected?

2 years ago, a friend of mine came back from london and bought these very tasty candy bars called BOUNTY and they were delicious.

i remember the candy was chocolate on the outside, and crunchy like a kit kat bar on the inside, with a creamy coconut filling.

so i was very excited last week because it was my first time in london.... so i went to sainsburys and bought 50 BOUNTY bars.

when i went back to my hotel room to eat one of them, i noticed that there was just coconut inside.

NO MORE crunchy inside????

does bounty make different types of candy bars??

i know that i bought the right one because, i remember the white and blue wrapper, with the coconut picture.

my question is ===== did they change the candy bar RECIPE???

thanks!!

I want to find a non-seedy, non-criminal (!) strip joint or lap dancing club that women can go to without a problem or being made to feel too intimidated - either in a single sex or mixed group. Do any exist?

I'll be there for about 4 days traveling only within Zone 1. I plan on using the Tube frequently and the bus at least once. I'm not sure how the "Oyster" differs from a regular ticket. Also, can I buy the card using my Visa card or is it a cash only purchase? Any info would be great! Thanks!
