I'll be there for about 4 days traveling only within Zone 1. I plan on using the Tube frequently and the bus at least once. I'm not sure how the "Oyster" differs from a regular ticket. Also, can I buy the card using my Visa card or is it a cash only purchase? Any info would be great! Thanks!

The money you put into buying the Oyster card you can get back again when you are done.

If you're going to be there for 4 days, its definitely worth picking up an Oyster card as journeys are cheaper and it will work out the "best fare" for you at the end of each day. Therefore, if you only make a couple of journeys it won't charge you as much as a One Day Travelcard but if you use it loads, it is "capped" at the price of a Travelcard.
Definitely a good way to travel!

An oyster card will charge you less than a one day travel card.
Single trip on bus £1.50, with oyster 80p.
You get them from most tube stations or on line, and can pay with you're debit or credit card.(The £5 you pay is only a deposit, and you do get it back)
I would recommend it. It saves a lot of money in the end.

I would say if you're only going to be in zone 1, that it would depend on how much you're going to use the tube...it would probably be much cheaper to get a zone 1 day pass each day if you're going to be going all over the place...

The oyster card is nice if you are a commuter and only take one or two tube trips a day...otherwise you do better with a day pass

I study this two times. the way you layer longer tale-appropriate prose is admirable, and some thing I easily have a lot worry with. you're making it look straightforward, organic, yet all human beings that write recognize the different is authentic. I regularly degree the effectiveness of a chunk by skill of the shape of TD's........Jealousy rears it really is eco-friendly head. Kudos to you, Mr Carney.
