I'm interested in travel as a general industry but if anyone has any information for particular sectors e.g. car hire, holidays, hotels and accommodation, flights, ferries and so forth, then I'd appreciate that too.

I'm going on a one-day trip to London (from Denmark) and would like to stock up on the typical British foods to take home with me. I would like to find a well-stocked supermarket like Tesco Extra or something like that, but not too far away from the city centre (i.e. 10-15 minutes away by tube from Leicester Square, for instance).

Any suggestions?

I am going to London for a few days holiday next week and wondered if you had any recommendations that I must see/do. I will be doing the usual London Eye/ Madame Tussauds/ Covent Garden..... is there anything different that you can recommend?

When did everyone turn so rude there? Every place I went into today, the staff acted like they couldn't be arsed or just carried on conversing with their mate.

And where did all the Muslim women come from? At one point I was the only barehead in a sea of headscarves!

Chorlton never used to be like this. It used to be quite nice. What happened? Did everyone just disappear up their own backsides?

I'm American but I'm going to be having a baby in the UK so I was just wondering

1. Are C-Sections common? Can you get one?
2. Do you get an epidural and all the same drugs?
3. How long do you typically stay in the hospital afterwords?

Thanks!!!
