Hop on a Silverlink train from Hemel to Euston and then catch the tube (Northern Line) from Euston to Kentish Town.

Don't bother with a car it'll take about 40mins max on the silverlink from Hemel to Euston and then the tube.
Why would you want to leave Hemel?

Drive to St Albans or Harpenden and and get train directly there (not a fast one though)
