Yes I`m Gateshead..love the North East when I hear the arrogant Michael Winner calling it ( and by all accounts he`s never been here) I get most annoyed.We have a good standard of living here and good housing ..

yes; born in Whitley Bay, family came from Cullercoats and I have traced them back as fishermen all the way back to 1793.
