I am getting married in the States and then flying back to Mexico with American Airlines. We will be receiving wedding gifts, of course, and I was thinking of packing some of them in a box instead of a suitcase. Can I substitute a box for one of the 2 pieces of checked luggage?

I am a 24 year old soon to be "businessman". What kind of briefcase should someone such as myself have? It seems like the hard cased ones with the rolling locks on each side that you carry at your side are now out of style. People seem to be getting the soft leather ones that you carry over your shoulder. But common sense tells you that you can carry more stuff and it will be better protected in the harder one. PLEASE HELP!!

I want to bring at least 8 beauty products (shampoos/body sprays/hair sprays...) that are 8-17 oz per bottle in my checked luggage. Is there a limit I can bring? I don't want to have any of this confiscated as they are kind of expensive gifts....

I am traveling to Walt Disney World and someone told me to pack snacks, juice boxes, ice packs, and bottled water so I won't have to pay extravagant prices. I also read a poster who said something about carbon monoxide poisoning and other problems.

My fiancee and I are going to be taking our first vacation on a Amtrak from Chicago to Oregon. Ive never traveled on a Amtrak or a plane so Im very new to this. What should I take with me? I know you allowed 2 carry on bags. Is bringing your own food allowed? makes for a cheaper ride!
How about alchol? can you bring on your own? Any help would be greatly aprreciated! Thanks

ok, i'm going on a flight next week and due to time i am unable to check my bags. I know there is a new thing on not being able to bring liquids but i need to know the depth of these rules. For example, does this mean no gels, lotions, or toothpastes??

I just want to know if I can post a letter in a regular postbox, if I'm sending it from UK to the USA. If not, do I need to go to the post office? Thanks.

How can I go about getting a passport? I want to travel to the UK sometime this December and would like to try and get it done fairly soon. As well, can anyone help with getting a visa (a regular one that allows me to work, as well as how to get a student one also since I'm planning to travel abroad next year). I send my appreciation to responses in advance. And I'll add any additional info if needed.

How about if you only have carry on luggage only? Does that mean you can bypass all of the check points? I heard that you can.
