I need to send a few things to Germany. USPS doesn't offer shipping with ship anymore. Is their still any chance to send my packages via ship? Or what else is a cheap way for a package weighting about 50 Pounts.

Thanks in Advance!

I am backpacking round OZ for 6 months at the end of this month, I am leaving from the UK. I need insurance pretty sharpish to confirm my trip, but I am confused as to what one is the best policy to have considering I'll be surfing and skydiving I expect?!! what is the best policy I can get for the cheapest price? Medical cover is my main concern.I have got a quote from boots fro £170 and they offer 10 million on health care and one from endsleigh for £140 but they only offer 1 million medical cover. I am so confused about what to go for!! Please, if you can help that'd be great!!

I am coming to the UK for 3-4 months this winter, and i am trying to decide if it would be best to bring my laptop and try and find an internet service to use over there or if it would be better to just go to the internet cafes.

I am afraid that if i bring my laptop, I will always be having the anxiety of it getting stolen and plus the hassle of having to carry it around all the time.

But I do plan to use the internet a lot in the evening so was wondering what would be the best advice to follow.

thanks for your answers!

I will be flying for the first time in over 10 years this weekend. I was wondering if anyone knew of a website that tells people what they can and cannot take aboard a plane. I have read reports that people cannot take liquids aboard planes. What about contact solutions, mouth wash, shampoo, toothpaste etc? I also have asthma can I take my inhaler aboard? Please any help will greatly be appreciated..

Would like to know what to pack in carry-on as opposed to suitcase. Any tips on how to pack light would be appreciated. I'm traveling to a warm climate so will be taking mostly shorts. I will be away for 10 days. Any other useful tips will be welcomed also. Thanks!

My family and I are planning a weekend getaway (4 days) and are looking for the best way to transport and keep food for the weekend. I don't want to keep frozen food frozen - I would like to keep cold food cold.

Is dry ice a good way to go? We'll be staying in a hotel but won't have a refrigerator. I'd like to avoid using ice since it melts and needs to be replenished. We can buy dry ice at our local grocery store, but I want to make sure I'm using it correctly and plan accordingly.

Thanks so much!

I know black is good. Black pants, black shoes, black skirts, black sweaters. and scarves. I got that. What about khakis? I have a blue and khaki pair of chinos from J. Crew. And for clubbing tops? Jean skirts? I have an aqua northface fleece and an aqua marmot ski jacket too that I'm wondering if I should bring.

Hey I was wondering when Passports will be needed to enter Canada by car. I heard that it will be mandatory in Jan of '08...but I also heard that they are extending it. I know we don't need one now because I just got back from Canada today. I am asking because I might go in March or April. Thanks!
