I'm looking for some good birthday gift ideas for my boyfriend of 3 years. He travels internationally for his job quite often. Sometimes is gone for a few days, sometimes more than a month. Any ideas for a good gift?

This may sound totally childish, but I think that a Nintendo DS would give him many, MANY hours of entertainment. If he's even remotely interested in video games, he will treasure this. This is all I can think of actually. And remember: you're *never* too old to play video games! LOL

take one of his fav photos and make a little canvas out of it - there are services online or places like Kinkos that do it. You would need the original file. Or transfer same image to a shirt using photo transfer paper. You print it on the paper then iron transfer it onto shirt or whatever. Cafepress has fun things for every interest on shirts and mugs and stickers, etc... A hand held digital weight scale is useful for travellers if he checks on his bags. Photoshop Elements for his computer?

How about travel accessories, such as leather passport covers? For a variety of travel-related essentials and accessories, I can recommend this site:

You could get him one of those photograph frames that you can record a message on, or an alarm clock that you can record a message on so that he can hear your voice every day. Or one of those digital photo frames with a selection of pics of the two of you on. Or an MP3 player with favourite tracks on.
