I know black is good. Black pants, black shoes, black skirts, black sweaters. and scarves. I got that. What about khakis? I have a blue and khaki pair of chinos from J. Crew. And for clubbing tops? Jean skirts? I have an aqua northface fleece and an aqua marmot ski jacket too that I'm wondering if I should bring.

You just bring what you should wear at home, but be moderate with colours.
Most people in Europe try to keep to the latest styles as much as the people in the USA do.
The only differences I have seen is that in the USA they will wear shorts when Europeans find it too cold to do so. And that in the USA the colours are louder.
A fleece and a ski jacket are good to bring, the winter temperatures in Paris are not really low, but you can expect a lot of wind on already chilly days.
And the Alps are not that far away for if you want to use the jacket for skiing ;o)

Most students in Europe will wear jeans and sweaters most of the time, but many will wear black, plain or printed, in almost all styles.
And you can always buy some more clothes if you want to blend in even better.
