I've tried getting directions, but you have to use the toll road. I'd rather just take Pacific Coast Highway, but I still don't know how to get to San Onofre from there.

Any directions would be helpful. Thanks.

I have lost my UK passport and have been told that I cannot get an appointment at the London passport office until next monday (eight days time) and I am travelling in six days time to France via Eurostar! Unfortunately I do not have a drivers licence and was wondering if anyone has had a similar issue recently and have managed to get a new passport quickly. I know the rules have changed recently and I know I was stupid to lose it but any possible answers to my problem would be soooo brilliant.

I'm flying Westjet from Ontario to Nova Scotia. Do I leave my disposable Bic lighter in my purse if that's the only carry on piece I'm taking? All my liquid & gel toiletries are going in my checked bag so no need for the plastic ziploc bag in my purse. Answers from people that have recently flown Westjet within Canada please, as all airlines & countries have different rules. Thanks.

Okay, I bought the medieval vacation package, and the idiots messed up my order with some other family and we were sent to the roaring twenties. We told them about this and they said they would bring us back to the present before they got this all straightened out, they were off by a couple of millennium and we got stuck here. Our transmitter is broken and we have no Idea what they're doing about this, I'm just wondering if there are any other vacationers in this time that know what to do. Everybody else, you're going to forget you ever read this.

Hello, I'm going to on a flight from Toronto to San Francisco to Japan. I am going for a year so I want to take 12 months worth of birth control with me because it is really expensive in Japan. Is this ok going through airport security? I'm especially worried about going through the US with it. Where should I pack it and how would they check? Thanks.

a train weighs 120,000 pounds
it can travel, using diesel fuel, 16 kilometers in one hour--[it has unlimited fuel]
You don't state the size of the diesel tank, nor the battery capacity. The problem states rates, only. If it were to say, "...diesel... 16 km FOR one hour", etc. then it might make more sense.
I'll assume these are rates for the given hour.
It is DESIRED that he DOES use all 3 means simultaneously. For diesel and battery power (16+ 4): 20 km / hour for the first 2 hours. That's an average speed of 10 km/ hr., After that he's at the mercy of the wind. So long as the wind keeps up, he can keep the train moving along slowly, at 2 km /hour indefinitely. After the 3rd hour his average speed will be 22 km/3 hours = 7.3333 km/ hour. After 4 hours it will be 24 km / 4 hours = 6 km/hr. Then 26 km / 5 hours...it can travel 4 kilometers in one hour using elect generators.
--
won't 3 resources give it more speed?
