Hello, I'm going to on a flight from Toronto to San Francisco to Japan. I am going for a year so I want to take 12 months worth of birth control with me because it is really expensive in Japan. Is this ok going through airport security? I'm especially worried about going through the US with it. Where should I pack it and how would they check? Thanks.

There shouldn't be an issue as BC isn't an illegal drug and you have a scrip for it. I would recommend putting some in different bags and keeping one with you just incase your luggage gets lost and never found.

good luck!

I had no problem with BC in February of this year when I left the country. Since you are carrying so much , just make sure they all have the label on them from the pharmacy.
