Yes.
I never had any problems with any kind of footwear on the plane, and I have used slippers, flip-flops, sandals, shoes, mountain boots and leather booties for winter use.
You might have to take them off to go through security, but sandals are less likely to need to be taken of than boots.
If you feel better that way, put on clean socks after landing so you look neat for when you go through the checks for passport and customs.

i have never heard of any particular restrictions on footwear, but if you are concerned, how about you contacting the airline's staff?
if i cant wear my sandals, i think i will be upset!

Sure. You just might want to take a pair of socks for the flight if your feet get cold.
