Finally moving to San Diego, CA 2 B with my husband [he's a marine]. Been trying to look for EASIER ways to bring all my belongings to the CA. I live in NJ. Want to ship all my stuff car, bed room set, computer, computer books, clothes, and TV. I don't really have a lot of stuff. I'm not sure how to go about doing this. Don't want to make the drive from coast to coast. Could some one please help me. I'd really appreciate it. Thank you!

I think the forces have people to advice the wives of their crew to do things like that.
Let him ask at the base or phone the contact number for his base if he is not around to do it for you.

But if you need to arrange it yourself, here are some advices.

Start with phoning some country wide removal companies, both where you live and where you want to go. (Or the mayor towns roughly in the same area, like New York and LA or SF.)
Maybe they have a trip where they will return empty or have a lower fee for just a half load they can combine with an other run.

For your car, I am sure there are companies that have people drive your car across the country, but that will be costly, so try the railways, often they have cross country trains where they transport cars as well as the drivers. (Maybe you can load all your smaller things in your car for that journey and just ship the big things like your bed?)

And if you need more info, just google on
'moving coast to coast' 'how to' or things like that.
