are army duffel bags really better than the others??

if so why?im looking for a large good quality travel bag,im thinking the ''army duffel is the way to go

Army ones are really sturdy. If the military uses them, you know their the best quality.
They have to live up to military standards!
I see lots of travelers carrying those.
