What's a nice vacation spot safe for a woman to go alone?

I was thinking of going to NY because I've never been.But is it safe for me to go alone my first time and not really knowing my way around???

I have visited many places by myself. NY was one of them. I did not find it scary at all. It seemed a little challenging at first. It was fun to have long walks, boat trips and shopping, visiting museums etc. There are a lot to do there and it's a great place to visit.

I wouldn't go to NY alone and I live 30 minutes away! Isn't there a group that you could join to travel with? You could go to Cancun and take day trips through the hotel or resort and see the ancient ruins...or maybe you should check with a travel agent to see if they have any "single" trips planned....you never know, you might connect with someone on your trip and have the time of your life!

Cruise ships are nice. You already have a hotel, you stop off at different ports, food included. there's usually others traveling alone. You just cruz the ports you stop at and can decide if you want to take another trip back. It's great.

You meet a lot of people that you already have something in common with....traveling!

safest place is in your bed in your room, but all U see is
four picture covered walls...so, we adventure out into the
world where excitement, people and oodles of shopping
exist. use caution, common sense and confidence always
as a measure to safe guard yourself, remember its people
who hurt others, so know where you want to go, ask
questions, stay in well lit areas were people are and
enjoy yourself.
