I don't really know what the laws are, I'm assuming they can track me down but I thought I'd ask here first whether I should pay this silly ticket.

I'm a Canadian, and I've heard many other countries like us. As we are so multicultural, I have the privelege of knowing many Europeans and they really like it here. But what makes Canada so likeable? I mean like I would LOVE to see all of Europe, and maybe buy a home there, but I could never leave my homeland permanently..what makes us attract so many people of other nationalities? Personelly, I consider I feel honoured that people would leave there homes to come here Please, if you are from far away, tell me what you think. What makes you like Canada? (If you do like it. If you don't, the please just don;t answer. Thanks.)

We're looking for a place where there's a decent balance between outdoor activities and city sight seeing. Would this be a good place? What are some things to do having said that? And is this a bad time of year with the weather getting cooler?

I'm going on a trip from Chicago, Illinois, United States to Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and I plan on traveling with Greyhound. On the website under ticket and travel it says "Travel to Canada or Mexico
A valid U.S. passport or proof of citizenship AND photo identification are required to enter Canada or Mexico." In your thoughts does this mean I NEED a passport OR I need a birth certificate and photo ID? lolz Just wondering because I've never traveled alone or this way before.

Myself and my Hubby (both mid twenties if that matters) are due to go to Halifax on the 4th Oct as we are moving there next summer.
I need some ideas of where to go (seen the websites like virtual tourist) other than the really tourist things (and the bars- dont want to spend all day in there ) i.e I want to go to a supermarket/ gocery store to see price difference - so want a big one! and good take outs!! :)
Any help is great!

their is a new hospital openeing in Brampton .Because the population in brampton is now mostly Indian they want the nurses to be required to all speak indian .Which therefore will mean hiring predominantly indians . My husband was listtening to this debate . Many people are upset and I feel rightly so.We were all immigrants once or forefather were immigrants ( unless your native indian ) equal rights should be for all of us and not just one group !
